National Pie Week

Since we found out that it’s National Pie Week, we’ve had pastry on the mind here at DNA Towers. We’ve been discussing our favourites all week and thought it would be rude not to share them with you. So without further ado, because you've always wondered, here are Team DNA's favourite pies:

John - Steak & Ale from The Swan at Swineford
"It's guaranteed to induce food envy in fellow diners."

Chris – Steak & Stilton
"I don't care where from, as long as it's big and in my mouth."

Matt – Chicken, Ham & Leek
"Homemade, preferably from leftovers."

Izzi – Any pie from Gloucester Services
"There's something about the M5 that makes them taste better."

Betty – Chicken & Mushroom 
"Definitely not homemade."

Sarah – Fish*
"I'd like to go on record as saying that the best one I ever had was a Gordon Ramsay recipe."

Fi – Steak from Somerset House
"Because it's as big as your head."

Liam – Fish*
"As long as it's got trout in it."

*an option that caused some controversy in the office due to the lack of pastry but which we decided to allow because it has the word 'pie' in the name.
