Welcome back Tivoli!

We’re very excited to announce the return of Tivoli van der Westhuizen! Tivoli is a DNA veteran who left us 18 months ago to take on a new challenges and see the world. She’s now returned to us as an Account Director and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her back in the fold. Some of you will remember her from her first stint but for those of you who don’t, we asked her some burning questions to help you get to know her.

What have you been up to since you were last at DNA?

I joined The Prince’s Trust as part of the Fundraising Team looking after Corporate Partnerships and Events across the South West and Wales. It was a great opportunity and I really enjoyed a stint in an organisation that was based on a very different set of drivers and focus.

I have also, quite literally, been around the world with a quick trip to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and America, at the start of 2017. My favourite country was New Zealand, if you haven’t been, go! My favourite city was Sydney – just brilliant. And advice when planning a trip like this would be make sure to try and avoid countries, for example Fiji, in monsoon season.

And why did you decide to come back

I couldn’t live without the DNA family. I always loved the variety and creativity that working at DNA brings…and, the biscuit tin.

Tell us about your exciting hobbies/interests.

I don’t know about exciting, but hobbies include eating, reading, snowboarding, house renovations, long walks and pub lunches.

Your house is burning down! Which three items do you save?

Well, my partner Nick, photos and our external hard drive. But realistically, I would never let that house burn down. Too much blood, sweat and tears went into it!

Most importantly, what’s your favourite cheese?

Mature cheddar. Boring, but so good. Generally, I love all cheese.
