We developed a new brand and built an ecommerce website to market a range of home emergency insurance products.
Develop a new ecommerce site to enable SESWS to sell their home emergency insurance products online and showcase other business areas such as bathroom and kitchen design and solar panel installation. The site had to allow comparison between insurance policies and upsell users to more comprehensive cover.
The site was built on a custom content management system giving the membership and marketing team control over content. The design allowed comparison of products and prompted the user to consider an upgrade to a more comprehensive policy when making a purchase. Integratation with Sagepay was also developed for policy purchase payments. The site also features a bathrooms and kitchens gallery and an interactive infographic describing how solar panels and solar thermal work. The site also has phone tracking so we can identify that people who call came from the website and even the keywords they used to get there.
The website generates online revenue from policy sales each month and we continue to optimise this through a range of marketing and advertising. Each month we produce a detailed Insight Report, as a result of data gathered from phone tracking on and offline and analytics information, to help inform new marketing initiatives.
