We are a friendly team based at Paintworks in Bristol. We currently have the following vacancies for an Administrator/Acount Executive and a Middleweight Designer:
We’re looking for a talented designer to join our growing team here at the Paintworks in Bristol. We’re in quite an enviable position in that we’ve got a cracking client list that just seems to be getting bigger and bigger and are working with some great names. In fact, life at DNA Towers hasn’t been better. But who are DNA? Well, if you check out our website, it’ll tell you that we “help clients create stronger brands and better businesses. For some we help them find, keep and engage the staff they need. For others, we help them find, keep and engage the customers they need. And for many we do both". We’ve been going since 2010 and pride ourselves in what we do and we’re looking to find someone who feels the same about what they do.
We need someone with experience. Someone who knows the way a studio works. Who isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up. You’ll need to have a good knowledge of the usual packages - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and in an ideal world, you'll know your way around After Effects and are happy with html. We’ll invest in your training and you’ll be able to choose what you want to spend your allocated budget on.
So, what are you likely to be doing? Well, it could be anything from designing a website or an html email or banner, working on POS or window graphics, designing brochures, advertising campaigns or customer engagement ideas... pretty much anything. You’ll be someone who loves a good pixel as much as a good picture and, as you’ll be part of a small but perfectly formed studio, you’ll have a real impact on what we do.
If this sounds like something that’s right up your creative street, then send your details, previous experience and a sample of some of your work to firstname.lastname@example.org. Who knows, you could be the next member of the team dipping into our biscuit tin. Good luck.
Due to growth and internal promotions, we’re looking for an Administrator / Account Executive to join our small, but perfectly formed, advertising and communications agency at the Paintworks in Bristol.
You’ll be essential to the smooth running of our agency and keen to crack on with a whole pile of tasks – no job will be too big or too small for you. First and foremost, you’ll be answering incoming calls, booking couriers, ordering stationery, making drinks for clients, ensuring we never run out of biscuits (heaven forbid!) and - to use the correct terminology - general office stuff. You’ll produce proposal documents in Word, PowerPoint presentations, media schedules in Excel, and do media and desk based research for clients and to support new business. We’ll also need your help with proof reading (websites, brochures, adverts, the list goes on…) so attention to detail and a good grasp of the English language and grammar is essential.
Taking all of this in your stride, you’ll also be happy (following training, if needed) producing website analytics reports, writing blogs and case studies for our website, and posting on our social media channels. We’ll ask you to get involved with website content loading and testing, processing adverts and managing small production jobs. You’ll help us set up surveys, analyse data and then present it back in a way our clients will love.
All in all, it’s pretty varied and every day is different.
What we’re looking for is all of the above nicely parcelled up in someone who has excellent attention to detail, is confident, resilient, shows initiative, is proactive and can demonstrate a willingness to learn. You will be just as happy working on your own or as part of a team – and you’ll always get the job done. We want someone who can multi-task, provide support, be organised and prioritise. Above all someone who generally cares about their work, has bags of energy and a positive outlook no matter what the day brings.
Still reading? What do you reckon then? If you’ve got relevant experience, that’s great. If not, that’s not a problem. As for the salary, it’ll be whatever’s right for the right person. You’ll also get 22 days’ holiday, your own training and development budget to spend as you wish and a biscuit tin that just never seems to be empty.
Drop us a sparkling covering letter along with your CV and salary expectations to email@example.com and hopefully we’ll have a chat. And a biscuit. Good luck.
