There’s nothing average about agency life at DNA. How could there be when we're all about creating a buzz and making good stuff happen for our clients and for each other?

As well as any actual adverts we’re running, we always want to hear from talented people. We’ve a brilliant business here at DNA, and will always hire people we feel can add something extra or special and ideally something ‘extra special’. So who in particular? Well, our Client Services team will always add outstanding Account Directors or Account Managers with agency or related experience, and our Creative Studio just loves to hear from talented Designers or Copywriters, again, with agency or related experience. Our Digital team is growing too, so Digital Specialists (SEO/ PPC/ CRO/Social etc), queue up and send us your details!     So what exactly do we do at DNA? Well, we help clients find, keep and engage the staff or customers they need to make their businesses successful. And for some we do both. Everything we do is focused on creating a buzz and making good things happen for our clients.
     
    We’re 10 years old now but we’re not looking to stop any time soon. In fact, we’ve grown really nicely, adding seven new team members in 2020. As we continue to grow, we are on the lookout for an exceptional Account Director to join our busy client services team.
     
    Being an Account Director here is all about relationships. Keeping them, growing them, finding them and nurturing them – and having fun along the way.
     
    You’ll own and drive those relationships, defining the client strategy and working with the wider DNA team to execute the plans our clients need to fulfil their objectives. No two days are ever the same here and you’ll love the variety that comes from working with a diverse client base. Some of them are well known brands, others not so well known, but you’ll love them all the same. Employer Branding, Engagement, Marketing and Customer Engagement (B2B or B2C) – you’ll love working across the board.
     
    What will you be doing? Glad you asked. Building a 52 week a year relationship with our clients. That could mean defining an employer branding strategy or developing an employee engagement plan or comms programme. It could be developing customer attraction or retention strategies. You’ll be happy working autonomously and making the most of the support on offer in our wider team – Account Managers and Account Executives, in-house Creatives, Developers, Digital Project Managers … but you won’t mind rolling your sleeves up and getting involved when needed too. You’ll also enjoy getting involved in business development to get new client work scoped and inducted into the agency so you can start nurturing and developing those relationships from the get-go. 
     
    To make it here you’ll really care about your colleagues and clients. You’ll strive to do the right thing and always bring your best self to work. You take ownership and responsibility, are organised, driven and focused – you’re also friendly and lovely to have around (whether that’s in our offices or our clients’ – or currently on Zoom calls!). Our clients mean the world to us and you’ll want to do the best you can for them every day. You’ll seek to understand them and offer the best solutions for their needs on an ongoing basis. Many of our clients take us with them when they move on to new roles and that’s testament to the broad and deep relationships we build and the creative solutions we offer. And believe us when we say that we don’t take this for granted.
     
    You’re ideally already working in an agency environment as either an Account Director or an experienced Account Manager looking for a step up. You will have your own transport and be happy to travel to meet clients in the South West, plus London and Manchester when needed.

  • Account Manager

Everything we do is focused on creating a buzz and making things happen for our clients. We’ve been going a decade now and have big plans to grow and develop, so we need another Account Manager to join our busy client services team.

    But what does being an Account Manager at DNA mean? Well, lots really but fundamentally, it’s all about building excellent relationships with our clients and with the DNA team, and delivering projects with flair and accuracy.

    You’ll work with the other DNA-ers to deliver the strategies and plans our clients need to fulfil their objectives. It won’t be dull here either. It’s very much about the variety that comes from working with such a diverse client base. Some of them are well known brands, others are not so well known, but, like us, you’ll love them all the same. Employer Branding, Engagement, Marketing (B2B or B2C) – you name it, you’ll work on it.

    What will you be doing? Glad you asked. All the good account management and project management things! Put simply you’ll work with our Account Directors to execute the strategy our clients need. It could be taking briefs for new campaigns or collateral, project managing client events or programmes, doing media research and booking, working on web projects, organising photoshoots or videoshoots, managing production tasks, proof reading, producing reports, setting up and analysing surveys – the work we do is varied and rewarding.

    As well as supporting Account Directors, you’ll have some clients to call your own which you’ll nurture, develop and drive personally. We’ll offer plenty of support so if you need any help or advice, you just need to shout. We’ll also ensure you have a personal development plan, a training allowance and we’ll help you stretch yourself and grow your career with us.

    To make it here you’ll ideally be an Account Manager in an agency environment already – although if not and you feel your experience is relevant we’re open to a conversation. You’ll need your own transport and be happy working from the office or travelling to see clients across the South West and as far afield as London and Manchester when needed.
