We’d love to hear from you!
There’s nothing average about agency life at DNA. How could there be when we're all about creating a buzz and making good stuff happen for our clients and for each other?
As well as any actual adverts we’re running, we always want to hear from talented people. We’ve a brilliant business here at DNA, and will always hire people we feel can add something extra or special and ideally something ‘extra special’. Have a look at our website, get a feel for our culture, and if it’s ‘you’, get in touch.
So who in particular? Well, our Client Services team will always add outstanding Account Directors or Account Managers with agency or related experience, and our Creative Studio just loves to hear from talented Designers or Copywriters, again, with agency or related experience. Our Digital team is growing too, so Digital Specialists (SEO/ PPC/ CRO/Social etc), queue up and send us your details! Ideally your CV, maybe an intro letter – you know the gig, ‘why you’, and all that – and if you have a LI profile or a portfolio to share, we’re always really interested to learn more about you. And even if there isn’t an open role right now, we could create one or agree a future start date for you.
If you are interested in a job at DNA, please send an email to hello@wearedna.co.uk with a covering letter and CV.
Hybrid working; Office base: The Paintworks, Bristol
Competitive salary
Here at DNA, we pride ourselves on helping clients find, keep and engage the staff or customers they need to make their businesses successful. And for some we do both. Everything we do is focused on creating a buzz and making things happen for our clients.
But what does being an Account Manager at DNA mean? Well, lots really but fundamentally, it’s all about building excellent relationships with our clients and with the DNA team, and delivering projects with flair and accuracy.
You’ll work with the other DNA-ers to deliver the strategies and plans our clients need to fulfil their objectives. It won’t be dull here either. It’s very much about the variety that comes from working with such a diverse client base. Some of them are well known brands, others are not so well known, but, like us, you’ll love them all the same. Employer Branding, Engagement, Marketing (B2B or B2C) – you name it, you’ll work on it.
You’ll work with our Account Directors to execute the strategy our clients need. It could be taking briefs for new campaigns or collateral, project managing client events or programmes, doing media research and booking, working on web projects, organising photoshoots or videoshoots, managing production tasks, proof reading, producing reports, setting up and analysing surveys – the work we do is varied and rewarding.
As well as supporting Account Directors, you’ll have some clients to call your own which you’ll nurture, develop and drive personally. We’ll offer plenty of support so if you need any help or advice, you just need to shout. We’ll also ensure you have a personal development plan, a training allowance and we’ll help you stretch yourself and grow your career with us.
To make it here you’ll ideally be an Account Manager in an agency environment already, preferably within experience in employee communications – although if not and you feel your experience is relevant we’re open to a conversation. You’ll need your own transport and be happy travelling to see clients UK (and very occasionally, the world) when needed.
You’ll really care about your colleagues and clients. You’ll strive to do the right thing and always bring your best self to work. Our clients mean the world to us and you’ll want to do the best you can for them every day. You’ll seek to understand them, offer best advice and go over and above to deliver for them and for your team. You’ll be organised, efficient, friendly and always willing to help. But you won’t want to stop there. You’ll want to take on greater responsibility as your confidence and ability grows. And we’re behind you all the way with that. It’s what we want too.
In return, you’ll get a competitive salary and a personal training budget to aid development. You’ll be joining a really friendly team with a unique culture. It’s important to us that we all enjoy what we do in the place that we do it.
Think this sounds like you? Get in touch with a CV and covering letter telling us why you think you’d be great for the job to tivoli@wearedna.co.uk – please include your notice period (or available start date) and your salary expectations. Applications without covering letters will not be considered at this stage.
And best of luck!
Hybrid working; Office base: The Paintworks, Bristol
Competitive salary
We’re on the hunt for our next extraordinary Account Executive to join our small, but perfectly formed team. You’ll be essential to the smooth running of our agency and keen to crack on with a whole pile of tasks – no job will be too big or too small for you. You’ll produce proposal documents in Word, PowerPoint presentations, media schedules in Excel, and do media and desk-based research for clients and to support new business. We’ll need your help with proof reading (websites, brochures, adverts, the list goes on…) so attention to detail and a good grasp of the English language and grammar is essential. You’ll also be answering incoming calls, booking couriers, ensuring we never run out of biscuits (heaven forbid!) and - to use the correct terminology - general office stuff.
Taking all of this in your stride, you’ll also be happy (following training, if needed) producing website analytics report as well as getting involved with website content loading and testing. You’ll also help us set up surveys, analyse data and then present it back in a way our clients will love. Really the sky is the limit on what you can do and learn, so it’s up to you to come in and grab the opportunities.
All in all, it’s pretty varied and every day is different.
What we’re looking for is all of the above nicely parcelled up in someone who has excellent attention to detail, is confident, resilient, shows initiative, is proactive and can demonstrate a willingness to learn. You will be just as happy working on your own or as part of a team – and you’ll always get the job done. We want someone who can multi-task, provide support, be organised and prioritise. Above all someone who generally cares about their work, has bags of energy and a positive outlook no matter what the day brings.
Still reading? What do you reckon then? If you’ve got relevant experience, that’s great. If not, that’s not a problem. As for the salary, it’ll be whatever’s right for the right person. You’ll also get 25 days’ holiday, your own training and development budget to spend as you wish and a biscuit tin that just never seems to be empty.
Drop us a sparkling covering letter along with your CV and salary expectations to tivoli@wearedna.co.uk and hopefully we’ll have a chat. Good luck.
Bristol or Hybrid
This is a great opportunity to work with a great bunch of people.
Who are we?
We’re DNA. You may have heard of us, but if not, we help clients create stronger brands and better businesses by finding, keeping and engaging the staff or the customers they need to be successful. We've been doing it since 2010 and we like to think we do a good job. But more than that: we all enjoy what we do and therefore, we believe we do it well. And it seems that our clients do too.
We've looked at what it means to be a DNAer and our vision is really quite simple. We want to 'create a buzz and make good stuff happen'. It applies to our clients, ourselves and anyone we come into contact with. And like all good businesses, we have a set of values too. And we're proud that we live by them. Again, they're simple. Firstly – Do the right thing. Secondly – Never compromise on quality. And thirdly – Always bring your best self.
So, tell me about the role.
Well, the Social Media Executive role (that’s you) will report to and support the Social Media Strategy Manager (that’s Joe) with the delivery of both client social media retainers and Employee Advocacy Programmes, as well as ad-hoc duties such as social audits and research.
The role will give the right candidate the opportunity to work on multiple client accounts, across a range of industries, and gain exposure in an exciting agency environment with support from an experienced team of marketing professionals.
And what will I be doing?
We’re not overly keen on a list of bullet points, but this is probably the best way to tell you. You’ll…
That’s us. What about you?
Ideally, you’ll be someone who enjoys working on a range of campaigns and projects at the same time, someone who has equal parts creative flair and methodical thinking, alongside the ability to manage your own time and think autonomously. You must have exceptional attention to detail and be highly organised.
Some social media account management experience is essential and paid media experience would also be desirable. You’ll need to have a keen interest in social media marketing and social media as a tool for talent attraction and customer engagement (both organic and paid).
A willingness to proactively learn and develop, as well as keeping up to date with industry changes, is essential and of course we’ll support you in your career with training opportunities along the way.
The right person for this role will possess good communication skills and be confident in working with fellow DNAers and clients alike.

In return, you’ll get a competitive salary and a personal training budget to aid development. You’ll be joining a really friendly team with a unique culture. You’ll have unlimited access to the biscuit tin too. It’s important to us that we all enjoy what we do in the place that we do it. Our office is based in Bristol, and we operate a hybrid working model.
