Hall & Woodhouse
Hall & Woodhouse are a family owned brewery based in Dorset and have many pubs predominantly in that area. As part of a new brand and a venture slightly further afield, the brewery came to us and asked if we could create a video that would help launch their new pub in Bath. The emphasis was not only on their own ales, but also focusing on the food element of their offering. Something that had been successful in their other pubs but Bath is renowned for good eateries and so it needed to be of exceptional quality. The pub would have different areas. Somewhere to relax and enjoy a bar meal, somewhere to sit and chat or play games, somewhere for afternoon teas, a private area for meetings or gatherings and of course, the restaurant area.
The building that H&W had bought was an old, long-established auctioneers’ property. The venue was a perfect location in the centre of Bath and was built over three floors but was in need of some work. We took this information based on the heritage of the building and decided to create a video that gave a nod to the past but beautifully showcased the new venue.
A video that sat on their site and allowed viewers to see all of the areas of the venue but to the backdrop of an auction taking place with various lots being ‘sold off’. Each lot showcased a different area and the sound of the gavel marking the end of that lot allowed us to move to the next area.
